Kid Connection is our gatherings designed for family
social activities.
We welcome all children and young adults with special needs and their families!
Our events are specifically designed for ages 3 - 17.
The DSA will pay the admission for the individual with Down syndrome and their siblings.
Parents are responsible for their own admission.
We are in need of a new Kid Connection Program Coordinator.

Money will be collected for the parents’ admission from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. All money must be handed in at the same time to receive the group discount. |

DSA Christmas Party The Blue Bubble Ballroom, 9315 Broadway (just outside Loop 410). 6 - 8 p.m. A BBQ meal will be served with hot dogs for the kids. Santa will be there to hear what's on your holiday wish list. Wear your dancin' shoes, as our incredible DJ will provide musical entertainment. We will be accepting unwrapped new toy donations at the door that will be presented to less fortunate children in our community. "The Ant and Elephant" - Children's Fine Arts Series Program Laurie Auditorium at Trinity University, 226 N. St. Mary’s Street. Showtime 6:30 p.m. Arrival time 5:45 p.m. Please notice that this is a THURSDAY NIGHT activity.The show is based on the book by Bill Peet. This is a unique version of the Aesop fable. Parents’ admission is $9. There is limited seating, so it is important to get your RSVP’s in by Feb. 2, 2009.Admission fee will need to be mailed to the DSA office ahead of time so tickets can be pre-paid.Tickets will be distributed at the front door from 5:45 – 6:15 p.m. to those on the RSVP list. |
