Sharing and Caring
This program is designed to help families who are experiencing a time of difficulty,
such as a hospitalized child, unusual home circumstances, etc.
We offer help to families in need by providing meals, respite time for parents, babysitting, etc.
If you or someone you know is in need of help,
please contact the DSA office.
Mentor Program
The DSA is beginning a one-on-one family mentoring program.
We are looking for individuals or families to become mentors to new parents
after the Outreach Program has made the initial contact.
The mentoring family will give new parents support
and help them learn about raising a child with Down syndrome.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor or if you are in need of a mentor,
please contact the DSA office.
