This program is specifically designed for teens with special needs
between the ages of 13 and 17.
The goal of the Teen Club is to encourage and develop
social relationships, lifelong friends, and a sense of independence
among our teenagers through planned social events.
While parents are welcome,
it is recommended that teens be allowed to attend on their own
in an effort to promote self-confidence and independence.
Chaperones will be in attendance at each event.
The cost of Teen Club events will be covered by the DSA
for the teen and one friend.
There will also be opportunities for the parents to attend
professional presentations on raising a teenager with special needs.
Our Teen Club Directors are Betty Carnes and Patty Cade.

Annual DSA Holiday Party
6 - 8 p.m.
La Villita Assembly Building (main floor) • 401 Villita, San Antonio, TX 78205
FREE parking will be provided with a parking ticket which is available at the DSA office.
A barbeque meal and hot dogs for the kids will be served. Santa and a DJ will be there for entertainment.
We will be accepting unwrapped new toy donations at the door that will be presented to children in our community who are less fortunate.We are hoping each attending family will donate one special toy.
