This program is specifically designed for teens with special needs between the ages of 13 and 17.
The goal of the Teen Club is to encourage and develop social relationships, lifelong friends and a sense of independence among our teenagers through planned social events. While parents are welcome, it is recommended that teens be allowed to attend on their own in an effort to promote self-confidence and independence. Chaperones will be in attendance at each event.
The cost of Teen Club events will be covered by the DSASA for the teen and one friend.
There will also be opportunities for the parents to attend professional presentations on raising a teenager with special needs.

Costume Ball Our Kickoff Event! The Pam Stephens Center, 6530 Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78240. 6 - 9 p.m. Teens are encouraged to bring a friend! We will have food, drinks, and karaoke. Teens are encouraged to dress up, but costumes are not required. |

DSA Christmas Party The Blue Bubble Ballroom, 9315 Broadway (just outside Loop 410). 6 - 8 p.m. A BBQ meal will be served with hot dogs for the kids. Santa will be there to hear what's on your holiday wish list. Wear your dancin' shoes, as our incredible DJ will provide musical entertainment. We will be accepting unwrapped new toy donations at the door that will be presented to less fortunate children in our community.
