This program is specifically designed for teens with special needs
between the ages of 13 and 17.
The goal of the Teen Club is to encourage and develop
social relationships, lifelong friends, and a sense of independence
among our teenagers through planned social events.
While parents are welcome,
it is recommended that teens be allowed to attend on their own
in an effort to promote self-confidence and independence.
Chaperones will be in attendance at each event.
The cost of Teen Club events will be covered by the DSA
for the teen and one friend.
There will also be opportunities for the parents to attend
professional presentations on raising a teenager with special needs.
